Atea 7 - Predictable, safe and fast migration to Windows 7, at the same time as you can move to an automatic and dynamic Client infrastructure

Atea 7 was launched on the same day as Windows 7 across the 4 Nordic countries Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. We encourage you to visit www.atea7.com as well as reading a more complete description of each component below.

Windows 7:
Atea participated actively in Microsoft early adopter program and by the time of launch Atea in Norway had implemented Windows 7 with 3 customers; Deep Ocean a medium sized offshore company, The county administration of “Sogn and Fjordane”, and Samlerhuset – a leading international provider of collection items. We had as well rolled Windows 7 out to several hundred PCs internally. All three early adopter customers can be found on the local Microsoft web page www.microsoft.no.  We participated actively in early Microsoft training programs, including training on tools included in the MDOP program.

Software: An important part of Atea 7 is to help our customers manage all software related tasks linked to
a migration including, but not limited to:

Licensing (Atea one of the biggest DLARs in the Nordic)

Software Asset Management with our own software management tool Atea Spintop Compliance Manager based on Microsoft SCCM, as well as third party software asset management tools and consulting services

Atea AppUpdate – A service where Atea for a fixed low cost offer our customers ready packed versions of the 50 most frequently used business applications adopted for Microsoft SCCM or Altiris

Hardware:  In Atea 7 design we provide our customers with a complete overview of the PCs that will run Windows 7, as well as advising our customers on hardware that need to be upgraded.

Users: Maybe the most important success factor for a good Windows 7 migration is that the users can start
doing their work immediately after turning on their Windows 7 PC. With Atea 7 we make sure all user settings are in place and we provide Windows 7 training videos.

Deployment: In Atea 7 Design Atea will supervise the
