ISIS.NET – Integrated Strategic Information Systems for InterNET - represents an ERP solution that provides the IT capabilities required in the process of managing the business operations of the enterprise (accounting, commercial, purchasing, sales, distribution, stock management, human resources).
The system is composed of operational services that implement the ERP-specific functionalities as Web applications. The data services are provided by SQL Server 2005, while the business rules run under Windows Server 2003. The solution is accessible from an Internet browser, includes a B2B portal to manage on-line orders and integrates Customer Relationship Management facilities.
Omnis Group and the ISIS software solution (first version of ISIS.NET) won the first prize for the best ERP at the Microsoft EMEA (Europe - Middle East - Africa) RAD (Retail Application Developer) Awards contest, Amsterdam 2001.
The ISIS .NET solution gained international recognition following participation in the EMEA RAD Awards 2002 edition, in Paris, where it won a prize for "Best use of open Internet technologies".
In December 2003, VeriTest, the exclusive test company for Microsoft's "Certified for Windows" program, confirmed the "Verified for Windows Server 2003" successful evaluation of ISIS.NET Portal v1.0, following tests performed in Paris laboratories.
Isis.Net Portal 1.1 passed in June 2004 the VeriTest evaluation for ".NET Connected" applications in Ballina, Ireland laboratories.
A case study based on the ISIS.NET portal was included by Microsoft on the DVD that was distributed worldwide on the occasion of the international release of Windows Vista, in January 2007.
